Each year the Washington State Legislature proposes and passes many bills impacting the health of the Puget Sound ecosystem and its residents.  Those bills which pass both chambers are then sent to the governor to be signed into law.  This table lists the bills that have been proposed since the 2024 legislative year, with basic information about the bill, and links to more details on the WA State Legislature's website.  This information is used elsewhere in Puget Sound Info to relate the various bills to the strategies and implementation efforts of the current Action Agenda. Every bill included in the Partnership's legislative database would have some effect on Puget Sound recovery efforts; inclusion does not indicate agency support for a bill.
